| Job Description: |
| The Children’s Music Director will be responsible for leading children’s choirs and Sunday School music at Good Shepherd Church. Currently, 450 kids participate weekly in our Christian Education program servicing our weekly worship attendance of over 1500. Responsibilities will include recruiting, music selection, rehearsals and performances. Also included is directorship of annual Children’s Christmas program and music leadership for VBS. This position allows potential for growth and creative programming. Requirements:
• Part-time, 10-15 hours per week (plan time included)
• Sunday mornings, weekday afternoon rehearsals, occasional evening and Saturday programs
• Energetic love for children and worship
• Gifted musicianship
• Passionate calling to leadership in Christian ministry
• Creative, with experience in program development and implementation Compensation:
Yearly stipend, commensurate with education and experience
