Job Description:
Purpose:
To assist the Senior Pastor in vital areas of church development and growth.
Qualifications:
Spiritual maturity and integrity.
Leader of leaders.
Pastoral initiative.
Spiritual gifts which include leadership and pastoring.
Church staff experience.
Proven history of extensive multiplication of small groups.
Proven history of recruiting, training, and deploying leaders.
Vulnerability and accountability with Senior Pastor.
Extrovert who loves to initiate with leaders.
Strong team player on multiple-staff church.
Responsibilities:
1. Small Groups - recruit, train, deploy, and pastor the small group leaders, and implement multiplication of small groups.
2. Assimilation - help people make connections relationally and in ministry
3. Pastoral Care - provide pastoral care for serious situations and for people not involved in a small group
4. Oversight of volunteer leaders of ministry teams, mentoring, pre-marital counseling, and Christian studies
