Worship/Music Minister- Tamarindo Costa Rica
Our church is a non-denominational, bible based, English Speaking Church consisting of approximately 120 members. We are made up of group of Christ followers who are embedded as the salt of the earth throughout our surrounding community.
Our church is looking for a contemporary worship/music leader for our congregation. It is essential that the applicant has a vibrant and growing walk with Christ as well as a missional mindset. Please inquire with us for a song list to see if our music fits your style/abilities.
In addition to worship/music responsibilities, our hope is to find an applicant who has gifts/abilities in leading in some other areas of church ministry as well. This can range from missions coordinator, bible-study leader, discipleship, childrens ministry, youth minister, web management, administration, church event coordinator, etc.
Please note that our church is not in a financial position to hire any other staff, so we are hoping/praying that maybe someone out there would be able to come as sent by a church or through raising support. For musicians who have experience performing in the secular realm, there is also the opportunity to "tent-make" by playing gigs at local restaurants and for destination weddings which are very common down here. Our current worship leader makes an extra $1000/month doing a couple of gigs per week and weddings on the side.
