Job Description:
Glad Tidings International Fellowship (GTIF) is a wonderful, international, multi-ethnic, English-speaking church in Thessaloníki, Greece. The last senior pastor recently moved to Athens, Greece to plant a new church there, and we are looking for someone to replace him.
Unfortunately, the church does not have much money to offer, so the best option would be for someone to come who is fully-funded, though there is the possibility that some funding could be provided (paying for an apartment, for example).
The church is part of the International Baptist Convention (www.ibc-churches.org). GTIF usually runs at least 80 people on a Sunday, but has had up to 150 on special events, evidence that there is room to grow.
The ideal candidate would have the following:
Experience in English ministry
Experience ministering internationally
A heart for the underprivileged
A desire to care for people and a drive to reach out to the community
