K – 12
This is a singular part time staff position in a real life ministry of Cook's Memorial Presbyterian Church with two areas of concentration: We estimate that 80% of the efforts will be placed in planning and leading the efforts to offer and conduct safe, Presbyterian based, educational and entertaining programs to nurture and equip our youth, grades K through 12 for a lifelong mission to love and serve Christ, integrate him into their daily lives, love his church and those who need his message. 20% of the time will be dedicated to the application of the various available social media platforms to_noemailmunicate with our youth, parents, volunteer youth leaders as well as the_noemailmunity, other area churches and keeping the congregation informed of the youth programs.

a) This position will be accountable to and supervised by the Head of Staff in consultation with the Personnel and Educational Ministries of the Session.
b) This position will concentrate on programs in coordination with the regular church Sunday School. Currently the main focus for
K – 5 will be building up the existing Sunday School program and planning for expected growth. The central focus for 6 – 12 will be to rebuild a base that will include guidance for Sunday School volunteer teachers and reestablish an extra curricular Youth program.
c) This position is part time requiring 20 hours per week. There is office space for this position, however some planning and application of the social media programs may be a_noemailplished from a home office.

Youth Ministry Leader Efforts
a) Plan for and participate with Volunteer Youth Leaders, other staff members and parents to conduct programming for our youth grades K– 12.
b) Serve as a resource for the Education Ministry.
c) Establish and maintain contact with Cook's college students.
d) Attend Staff meetings.
e) Attend Education_noemailmittee meetings.
f) Hopefully attend Sunday services when applicable. You are always we_noemaile at any time!
g) Participate in outings/trips with youth groups and youth leaders.

Social Media Coordinator Efforts
a) Apply the various social media platforms that Cook's utilizes to_noemailmunicate with the youth, volunteer youth leaders, parents, the_noemailmunity, other area churches and the congregation to keep all informed as to our youth activities.
b) Keep the Cook's Church Facebook page updated when needed.
c) Update and maintain the Cook's Church web site.

Minimum high school diploma; prefer someone with 2 yrs experience leading Christian youth groups; up-to-date knowledge of various Social Media platforms
